World’s Largest Spud & LFGM

Mile: 112,750

It was a Wednesday and Jackson had already been off for a few weeks. I had to watch him and decided to only work a half day because I am beginning to finally realize that tomorrow is never guaranteed. We went up to Zach & Lou’s BBQ to see the world’s largest potato all the way from Idaho! They travel the US spreading the word of the potato! We got a cool sticker we put on Ole Red. We filled our bellies up with the Pork BOMB! A backed potato covered in pulled pork and Mac and cheese. To say it was delicious does not do it justice. On our way home I noticed that the rain was letting up and I got out of a night meeting I was supposed to go to so I said F it let’s go see the Mets! It was the Subway Series!

Action Jackson was hungry on the way there but I told him we had to wait because food was included in our tickets. I then look up and see chocolate all over his face. I said what the heck is that?!?!? He said oh … I had a spare chocolate donut in th truck just in case! That kid is always thinking! After he drained his tank peeing in a cup as we were stuck in traffic it was off to the stadium

As soon as we got there the skies OPENED up! Luckily, it only lasted ten minutes and then we were on our way. Action Jackson had never been in this area of here stadium before. His eyes opened wide and he had a little of everything, turkey, pasta, pretzel, popcorn and even some nachos and cheese! He then spotted a boy in the middle of nowhere with cotton candy and off to find a cotton candy vendor it was! We found him and he damn near almost the whole bag.

We capped off the night with a helmet ice cream. Thanks to Jackson’s luck we pulled it off in extra innings.

He then fell right asleep as he had a big day at LegoLand the next day with his buddies Alejandra and Cam!

Please like and share so everyone can follow along on our adventures in this old, beat up pickup truck that puts smiles on our faces and others as we meander from adventure to adventure!
