Off to Giants Stadium for Monster Jam! We try to do a monster truck sabbatical at least once per year and this year did not disappoint! As usual, they let it all hang out! Trucks flipping and blowing up! Nothing like the smell of that…

We crossed state lines for this adventure!
Off to Kelly’s Creamery & Food Truck. We like this place because they have the trifecta:
1. Foods Truck
2. Ice Cream
3. Mini Golf
This place has the world’s juiciest, biggest chicken fingers. They must feed their chickens spinach cause these tenders are ginormous! I will try to get a picture of them next time before they disappear. Also got their spicy fries with some sort of heavenly dipping sauce.
We all had to have ice creams of course. We love the fact that here they have fresh made waffle cones and there is nothing like that!
We then worked off our calories with a round of mini golf and then back to reality. If you are in the area you definitely should check them out!

Mile: 111,318 We are so lucky to live near the Connecticut Antique Machinery Association! They had their spring start up. When we go there we were actually invited to be in the show so we had VIP parking! Action Jackson always leaves with something neat…
Papa and I got a lull for us to use on our job site. Needless to say, Action Jackson is a quick study. Can’t wait for the day he can run his own site! I bet he can’t wait too! Please like and share so…

Mile: 111,080 Action Jackson got to see his buddy Uncle Shai who always has a trick or two up his sleeve. Another great meal on our town green and off for some ice cream as a nightcap! Please like and share so everyone can follow…
Mile: 111,074 It was getting near the end of the year so I snagged Action Jackson and we went strolling around driving and getting lost. Eventually found our way back and he filled us up with gas. Thanks AJ! Please like and share so everyone…
This was a special day. We got three generations together to see the opening day of the Mets! We were able to sit right behind the dugout and capture all the players. The crowd went electric when Diaz hobbled out on crutches.
My father hadn’t been to a game since I was Action Jackson’s age. Needless to say the ballparks are a little different these days.
It got a little chilly out there so I snagged yet another Mets blanket for Jackson. He loved his warm pretzel on this cold day. That’s for sure.
We even got a win!
Days like these make me realize how lucky I am. Life. Is. Good.

Mile: 110,076 We had to fuel up with some donuts but we eventually made it back home to dye some Easter eggs. Hope you made some snazzy ones too! We try to always have the flags flying too. We live i n the world’s greatest…
