Goshen Stampede

Goshen Stampede

Mile: 109,235

Luckily, we received word that the rumors were true … a demolition derby … within driving distance! I hadn’t been to one since I was a kid and Jackson had most definitely never been to one! Off to the Goshen Stampede we went. Jackson was in luck as Papa met us there to hang and watch the cars literally demolish each other. They had multiple heats with a 6 cylinder and 8 cylinder group going at it. The ultimate victor was a regular on the circuit from Vermont. We also got to see barrel racing, mechanical bull riding and a whole slew of food trucks. Jackson and Heather were also victorious at the midway earning a more than handful of stuffed animals and trinkets.

Yesterday, Jackson and I pigged out on some S‘Mores at the house with a roaring fire pit. He is just like his old man … a pyro!

All in all a great weekend of adventures! Hope your day brings as much joy as our weekend did!
