We try to teach Jackson how fortunate we are and whenever possible we try to give back. In its tenth year the local Odd Fellows held their annual toy drive and we were lucky enough to be able to help them out!
We first stopped at Nordica Toys on our local green. Nordica has all kinds of great Christmas gifts from small to large and the new owners have done a great job of coming up with a wide inventory of items for all ages, boy and girls. We are also VERY happy to see their new POS system which made checkout a breeze.
Then we were off to a couple more stores. When it comes to these things I can get a little crazy … so crazy in fact I miscalculated what we bought. That’s ok cause we filled up the cab too! Heather is such a saint that she was going to wait at the store until we unloaded but I told her no need! Instead we had Jackson sit on her lap. Nothing like going down the road at 20 mph hoping things don’t fall out!
They had all kinds of delicious brownies and cookies which Jackson and I loved … of course! Thanks so much to the Odd Fellows for coordinating!
