Dutchess County Fair

Dutchess County Fair

So anyone who knows us knows fairs are our thing with Action Jackson loving them. We went to a fair that NONE of us had ever been to before … the Dutchess County Fair. We have to say this is by far our FAVORITE fair. Located over the state line in Rhinebeck, New York it is large and it has a LOT to do.

We were overwhelmed by the amount of things and took it all in like an almost 8 year old would!

There was food galore with a great steak sandwich booth, crab Mac and cheese, pizza, ice cream, sugary long sticks of goodness and much, much more.

There was all kinds of reptiles and birds and fishes on top of the regular farm animals. There were litttle piglets, a colt its born and calves.

We got to see old exhibits of how things use to be “back in the day.” There was antique machinery, old trucks, all kinds of vegetables AND the GLOBE OF DEATH!

There was a magic show and even a concert as we were leaving. We made sure to stay until the sunset so we could see all of the booths lit up.

Jackson tried his hand at the darts and popped a bunch of balloons. He may have a career in hustle!

We will definitely be back next year to this one!

Please like and share so everyone can follow along on our adventures in this old, beat up pickup truck that puts smiles on our faces and others as we meander from adventure to adventure!
