Cape Cod

Mile: Many

We have started a new tradition the last couple years where we get away to Cape Cod before Action Jackson reports for duty back at school. It is also his birthday so he enjoys finding little things there.

We started out by staying in Falmouth. Action Jackson had never been to Plymouth Rock before so we showed him the Mayflower recreation and the good ole rock itself. Go figure … there was a chocolate and ice cream shop directly underneath our room! Heaven indeed!

Then we ventured off to Dennis Port for the second leg of our trip. Heather got in some retail therapy, Jackson found some Bruder trucks and construction equipment and I got to fill my belly with ha bunch of seafood. A little something for everyone.

We got to see a really cool old village so Jackson could see what life was like before plumbing and electricity. We even got to a grist mill where he got to make flour out of corn. Not sure he would be cutout for that long term!

The weather was a little stormy so we made the best of it and got Jackson a kite. Boy did he get it up there. No hotels were harmed in the making of his kite adventure.

Please like and share so everyone can follow along on our adventures in this old, beat up pickup truck that puts smiles on our faces and others as we meander from adventure to adventure!
