Chill Out
Mile: 112,953 It had been a rather not good day, which is not typical in our house. It was time for a reset. Off to South Farms it was! If you recall this was where they put on outdoor concerts during Covid and my wife…

Mile: 112,750 It was a Wednesday and Jackson had already been off for a few weeks. I had to watch him and decided to only work a half day because I am beginning to finally realize that tomorrow is never guaranteed. We went up to…

It was off to what’s called the Goshen Stampede. They take a fairground and convert it to good old-fashioned Stampede!
They had a band playing and plenty of food to choose form. The frozen lemonade hit the spot. They even had a few monster trucks. They had a petting zoo, rides, a ride on bull and a rodeo.
Action Jackson and his mom were a pro at throwing the darts to hit the balloons so he walked home with some shwag!
Hope your day was just as fun!

Mile: 111,958 There was a nasty haze in the air from the wildfires up in Canada. I could only imagine how horrible it must be for them up there. Put Jackson to work on some railing painting! Not too shabby if I do say so…

It was country day at school and we capped it off by snagging some ice cream the new ice cream stand in town, Kimberly Farms. They have soft serve and hard ice cream with all kinds of toppings. Action Jackson definitely approves! I think we are averaging 1-2 x per week!
Hope you enjoyed the sunshine!

Action Jackson and his bud Alejandra went down to GOAT Days. GOAT stands for Greatest Of ALL Towns put on by an awesome couple who lived in New Milford, Connecticut the town we live in. We are so lucky to have people like them live here. They put on this celebration of our Town. They had a carnival this year which took it to the next level!
We snagged some ice cream, Jackson won a few prizes for his girl and then we walked up to La Piccolina one of our favorite dinner spots. They make a ton of fresh Italian dishes. I had the grilled calamari and their filet special. Yummy in the tummy.
Then we checked out New Milford’s newest ice cream spot, Grass Roots. It was really good and they already had their ordering dialed in.
All in all a great day of adventures! Hope you had just as great of a day!

Off to Giants Stadium for Monster Jam! We try to do a monster truck sabbatical at least once per year and this year did not disappoint! As usual, they let it all hang out! Trucks flipping and blowing up! Nothing like the smell of that…
