Mile: 106,032 Taking a little break from all of the rain we decided to make a break for it! There is a great spot over the border called Kelly’s Creamery and Kelly’s Husbands Truck. They have a food truck with an ice cream shop and…

Took a visit to the new playground in New Milford. Action Jackson was partial to the zip line chair thingy! Needless to say, there was less Action and more sleep by the end of our adventure!
Mile: 104,738It was time to liven up the yard and Jackson was a great helper as always! It was a little hot so needless to say Jackson had to go shirtless on our way to ice cream to cool down!

Well… this may have been one of the most amazing nights so far for Action Jackson in Ole Red. We live in this amazing town in Connecticut … New Milford. The local fire department put on a light parade for everyone to enjoy. A bunch of local businesses participated and fire departments as well.
The planning started several weeks ago by selecting several types of lights. Jackson had to perform some “experiments” to see which were brightest. A local visit to Scott’s Landscaping for the tree and the addition of a snow machine and a Bluetooth powered speaker to make the night complete.
Special thanks to Uncle Terry, Uncle Alfred, Tim, Colin, Chris and the many others who made this one magical night that Jackson will never forget! Thank you New Milford. You are AWESOME!
Hope your adventures were just as special today!
Mile: 104,120We had an eventful weekend! We started off with some decorations on our trees and Jackson was a great help! He definitely liked the new lights. Then it was off to write a letter to Santa so he could let Santa know what he…
Mile: 103,108Quite the day for Action Jackson. It started off rather quietly picking up some coffee for mom at Dunkin. However, we got a call from Papa that he was coming up to our house to take away some dirt tha had been stockpiled in…

Action Jackson celebrated yet another birthday on Friday, turning 5. He made out pretty darn good. Thanks to the great people at Nordica Toys we were able to fill up Ole Red with some awesome Bruder trucks!
After that it was time to go on an adventure. First, we had to fill up the truck with gas and Jackson is always willing to lend a hand! He may be growing up but he’s still not too old to hold Mom’s hand.
We ended up at Popey’s, a hot dog and hamburger stand, to fill our bellies. Jackson sore by the hot dog with some ketchup and I must say the curly fries were delectable! After that we took in some tunes from the band that happened to be playing next door followed up with a ride around Lake Waramaug.
Before it got too late we had to get home for some Oreo cake! Needless to say there wasn’t much cake by the time Action Jackson and I got a hold of it!
Hope life is treating everyone well like it is us! Action Jackson appreciates each and every one of you and hopes you will spread a little happiness to your friends as his gift!!!
P.S. – Wish Jackson a happy birthday if you could spare a second! It will definitely put a smile on his face!
Mile: 102,380 It was time to stretch our legs and open her up so off to Popey’s in Morris we went! We got to see a drum circle on the New Milford green, bunches of boats on Bantam Lake and a bunch of people dressed…
