Jackson and his bud Thomas went out on the Town in Ole Red last night. They got to hand out candy canes to a bunch of smiling people, have one themselves and even get a game of air hockey in.
Thomas even let me know he found out he is on the “nice list”!!!!!! Jackson is still TBD.

Christmas Tree Hunt

We had an eventful weekend! We started off with some decorations on our trees and Jackson was a great help! He definitely liked the new lights. Then it was off to write a letter to Santa so he could let Santa know what he wanted… Numebr one was an Optimus Prime Monster Truck with non-monster truck wheels. Santa will definitely have to use some magic to find that one cause we can’t. 
Then it was off to Angevine Tree Farm to find the perfect tree. Unfortunately, the skies opened and rained down upon us and it was not meant to be. That’s okay though we had lunch at the 202 Tavern, field our bellies, and regrouped. We decided it was off to Scott’s Landscaping wich was our go to pre-Jackson. Scott and his team came through!
We capped the night off with the tree lighting on the Green. One of Santa’s helpers even made an appearance and Jackson stood in awe.

Light Up Ole Red

Boy do we love our town of New Milford! This week was the carol sing on the Green along with a Light Parade.
What Light Parade would be complete without lighting up Ole Red?!?! I left a message for Heather… get the small ladder and utility knife please and have it ready. We won’t have much time but we’ll make it. I rushed and got a bunch of battery operated lights and tape.
Jackson was over the moon excited when I showed up home with Ole Red and told him we needed to get the lights on ASAP. We made it just in the nick of time. Upon arrival some of the kids thought we were the start of the parade. 
We even got to talk to Santa for a bit!
After the caroling and watching the light parade it was time to go scope out some other lights. Winner of the night was the Christmas Vacation display. Even got us a nice picture of Ole Red in the scene.
Just wait until next year!
