Maple Harvest Festival

Maple Harvest Festival

Mile: 115,090

It was a blustery day so it was time to bundle up and visit the Maple Harvest Festival at Sullivan Farm in the Town we live in. Sullivan Farm came out of the Youth Agency where kids actually help run the farm. They had a bunch of demonstrations setup of when it was first found that maple trees had sap that old be turned into a sugary substance up to today’s modern evaporator that they have which boils 165 gallons of sap per hour.

They even have it computerized now so that when the temp hits 176.8 the tap opens so then they have it just right!

It also looks like a little leprechaun might have made a visit to our house in the morning. Hope your shenanigans were as fun as ours.

Life is full of adventures … make as many as you can!
