Mile: 115,090 It was a blustery day, so it was time to bundle up and visit the Maple Harvest Festival at Sullivan Farm in the Town we live in. Sullivan Farm came out of the Youth Agency where kids actually help run the farm. They…

With the rainy winter we took a little hiatus but we are back and Action Jackson is up to his adventures. This month has been Camp Papa with Uncle Kyle too! He has been on break so he gets to spend days running excavators, loaders and a lull and going for rides to the scrap yard … basically every little boy’s dream!
It was time to get Ole Red out and start our adventures back up as Spring has sprung.
We hopped over to the 202 Diner for some grub. Jackson got his favorite Mac and cheese.
After our bellies were full, we washed it down with some ice cream and Action Jackson got to see his buddy Thomas that he had not seen since we talk him around time to throw some candy canes when we were all lit up.
On the way home we saw 14 deer chilling in a field so we took a little time to check it out as we had never seen that many there before.
Hopefully today we will find the leprechaun AND the pot of gold!
Life is full of adventures … make as many as you can!

Mile: 115,045 It was an action packed couple days! Action Jackson is out of school so he got to spend some time with Papa and Uncle Kyle overseeing our job site. He was pretty tuckered out but still insistent that we spread some Christmas Cheer…
Mile: 114,982 We had a great time at the Festival of Lights! They had all kinds of different lights setup and all kinds of themes. Thankfully the weather cooperated and we were able to take our time to make it through at our own pace.…

Action Jackson loves our annual tradition of cutting down a Christmas tree and this year was no different. First, we had to help string the lights on the trees at our house. Team work makes the dream work!
Then it was off to Angevine Farm up in Warren. It was a little foggy out but that did not deter us from our mission of picking the perfect tree.
Jackson quickly went to the Frazier fir area and we walked between the rows and rows of trees before Heather came upon the perfect tree… that someone else was scouting. Luckily, they moved on to another one and there it was …. A beaut! Or as Jackson says “boootfiul”.
This year Jackson was the primary sawyer and did a bang up job. Before you know it not only will he be cutting down the tree but dragging it as well without my help. We are so lucky to be able to cherish these days before he gets older and try to never take a day for granted.
Of course we had to fuel up with some hot chocolate and molasses’s cookies.

Mile: 114, 935 We try to teach Jackson how fortunate we are and whenever possible we try to give back. In its tenth year the local Odd Fellows held their annual toy drive and we were lucky enough to be able to help them out!…
